Human Beings are to the Universe what Cancers are to Humans.
If you google what is cancer, the answer you might receive is as follows: "Cancer is a disease in which some of the body's cells grow uncontrollably and spread to other parts of the body. Cancer can start almost anywhere in the human body, which is made of of trillions' of cells".
I have said and I'll say it again, human beings are to this planet and to the universe what Cancer Cells are to human beings. Now I'm not a human hater, heck I'm a part of the race. But I do recognize that human beings act similarly to cancers. We multiply, uncontrollably and often times without much thought. We have babies out of our own need, to see ourselves again, to have a part of ourselves live on even after we die. We never (or seldom) think that we are bringing forward a human, with it's own set of emotions, thoughts, patterns, behaviors, who by all accounts did not ask to be born. And inevitably and eventually, we destroy not only eachother but the host that maintains us, this planet. We pollute, we rob the soil of it's riches and rarely do we give anything back.
I find it interesting that people aren't as forward thinking to compare the universe to our own bodies.
In fact, both the human body and the planet Earth have several connected systems that support life. The respiratory, digestive, reproductive, musculoskeletal, nervous, and immune systems all play important roles in human life. The planet’s stability relies on the balance of its air, water, land, and life systems.
It is estimated that 90 percent of the cells in our bodies are not human. Instead they belong to other organisms. To that end, we share 97% of our atoms in common with the rest of the galaxy. Oxygen accounts for more weight than any other element in both Earth and the human body. But we destroy the earth, we destroy the one place that has always protected us from the unknown. If we aren't living on this planet than where would we go? Instead of taking care of eachother and this beautiful planet, we are consumed, ever more so, with our own 'needs', 'thoughts', 'desires'. Our victimhood has reached mass proportion, and we've become angry and more vile and violent. Much like a cancer, that has become aggressive. We kill, intentionally and unintentionally. We leave our host worse off than it was when we leave. The human species, in all it's wonderment, is simply a cancer.
And in truth that is by design. Go back as far as you can in history and humanity has always been a destructive force. It is by design, because most of us will never see beyond ourselves. Perhaps there was a time when human beings actually cared about one another, but today, our young people are being encouraged to live for the 'gram (whether that is instagram or a gram of dope), take pictures and make believe that their life is 'cool' according to random likes by people they don't know. Humanity is sick and we are getting sicker. We are pushing for 'climate change' while we still haven't resolved famine. There is something seriously wrong with human beings. And truthfully, it seems that there is nothing we can do.
